Wanda Willeford Cozad, moved to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Her transition was painless and peaceful. I am so thankful to have been with her as she left this earthly home to join her Heavenly Father, her parents, and all 6 of her siblings.

She was born 01/31/1931, in Alvin, TX, to William Lewis Willeford and Mattie Jane Freshour Willeford. She passed away October 9, 2025, in Lufkin, TX.

She is survived by her son, James "Jimmy" Cozad; daughter Susan Martin (Dan); grandchildren, James "Trey" Cozad, Jonathan Martin, and Morgen Martin; and great grandson, James Martin.

We are so grateful to so many who cared for her in these recent years, specifically Dr. Durba Mishra, Dr. Venkata Kovvali, the staff of The Meadows, and her nurses and therapists from Accent Care HomeHealth.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as we move through the upcoming days.

She will be remembered in a Graveside Service at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Confederate Cemetery, 998 Dickinson Rd, Alvin, TX 77511.
