Funeral Services for Todd Elliot Smith, 46, of Guy, TX, are set for 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Needville United Methodist Church, 8602 Church Street, Needville, TX 77461. Burial will follow in Guy Public Cemetery, Guy, TX 77444.



Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461.



Pallbearers will be Hank Williams, Danny Ryan, Derrick Selig, Timmy Spitza, Rudy Salazar, and Dale Oberhoff. Honorary Pallbearer will be Oscar Lopez.


Todd was born October 2, 1968, in Wharton, TX, to William Michael Smith and Carolyn Selig Smith. He died October 25, 2014, in Richmond, TX. Todd lived in Guy all his life. He had several occupations in his life, but the one he liked most was a painter, like his grandpa, Edgar Selig. Todd was liked by everyone who knew him. He had a very loving and forgiving heart.



Survivors include his parents, William Michael Smith and Carolyn Selig Smith; brother, Michael Smith and partner Enrique Trevino; sister, DeNedra Tarrant and husband, David; nephews, Connor and Zachary Tarrant; uncle, Daryl Selig; and grandmother Dorothy Selig. Todd had three children: Dylan, 21, Gabrielle, 19, and Haley, 13. His extended family included Matthew Dubek, 21, and Megan Slavinski,16, whom he loved as his own.
