Visitation will be 11 AM - 12 Noon on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel in Rosenberg, for one hour preceding the funeral service.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Fred Rich, Jorge Saldana, Sean Travis, Dallas Griffin, and Brady Blasdel.

Tom was born October 4, 1943, in La Feria, TX, to Hubert J. Rich and LeeNell Muller Rich. He died July 21, 2021, in Richmond, TX.  By occupation, Tom retired as a civil engineer.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, and sailing in his younger years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean G. Rich; and his brother, James L. Rich.

Survivors include his wife, Claudia X. Rich; stepchildren he shared with his first wife, Jean: Brady Blasdel, Tiffany Blasdel Anaya, and Baily Blasdel; stepchildren he shared with his wife, Claudia: Jorge A. Reyes Saldana, Claudia K. Reyes Saldana, and Sharon A. Santiago; nieces, Sabrina L. Griffin and Tanya A. Travis; cousin, Fred D. Rich and his 4 children; step grandchildren he shared with Jean: Samantha Hoyer, Ethan, Caleb, and Aaron Blasdel, Addison Anaya and Brooklyn Anaya; great nephew and nieces, Sean Travis, Skylar Travis, and Sophia Griffin.

Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
