Stuart McKenzie Whitehair, 60, of Richmond, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 11th, 2022. He was born August 10th, 1961 in Manhattan, NY, to Edward and Diana Whitehair.

He is survived by wife Julie, sons Shawn & Colton, sisters Beth and Pam, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members.

Stuart was a beloved husband and father, devoted son, brother, and uncle. Stuart worked his entire life in construction doing everything from home remodels to elaborate sound studios in California all the way to the great state of Texas.

Stuart was most at home though while fishing and hunting. It didn't matter if he was flipping jigs to bass, throwing plastics at trout and redfish or trolling big baits for pelagics, he just needed to be a part of the program. Waterfowl hunting was another key part of who he was. Although he was blessed to have hunted California and Canada, the ability to hunt Texas with all his friends is when he really shined. His infectious smile and storytelling will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 5 PM until 6 PM on Monday, April 18, 2022, with services beginning at 6:00 PM in the Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 4th Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471 .
