On April 21, 1969, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Steven Richard Summy was born to Catherine Ann Calie Summy and Richard Duane Summy. He died February 15, 2019, in Needville, TX. Steven proudly served his country in the Air Force, serving during the Marcus overthrow in the Philippines; he was also a Gulf War Vet. Steven loved serving his community as a police officer in several different capacities and places. He also loved caring for his dogs and being there for his mom, Cathie, who could always depend on him as her "post in the ground." Steven, you will really be missed.

Preceding Steven in death were his brother Dean Robert Summy and his father Richard. Left to grieve are Steven's mom Cathie; his sister Nancy and husband, Doug, and their son David; his brother David and wife, Delia, and their sons Richard and Matthew, along with many other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Davis Greenlawn Cemetery, 3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471 , with Rev. Nate Sprinkle officiating.
