Steve was born December 10, 1944, in Corpus Christi, TX, to Ellis and Charlotte Priddy. He went to Tuloso-Midway High School where he was known to be quite the football player. Steve remained active throughout his adult life and his love of the outdoors would often find him fishing, deer hunting, barbecuing for his church, friends and family, caring for the lawn at the church, and playing with his children and grandchildren. He never met anyone he didn't make friends with, nor did he have anything negative to say about anyone.

Steve worked for Superior Oil Company which later became Mobile, where he worked until he retired. However, Steve didn't stay completely retired for long as he then worked part time for Brazoria Mosquito Control.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Charlotte Priddy, brother Charlie Priddy, and brother-in-law Jim Hippler.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Debbie; children, P. Leanne Dry and husband Michael, Steven D. Priddy and wife Shantel, Jake E. Priddy and wife Andrea; grandchildren, Chelsey Dry Morsicato, Chase Dry, Ariel Dry, Emily English, Addison English, Fisher Priddy, and Christopher Priddy; great grandchildren, Baylen Morsicato and Andrew John Morsicato IV; siblings, Lois Hippler, Carroll Priddy and wife Cecil, Jim William Priddy and wife Chris; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Nawara, William Nawara and wife Carla; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
