Sharron Lynn
Oubre
Jan 25, 1948 — Oct 5, 2025
Richmond
Sharron Oubre, born on January 25, 1948, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on October 5, 2025, in Houston, Texas. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith, Sharron lived a life rooted in love, service, and joy.
She was raised amid the vibrant culture of New Orleans and graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School before attending Louisiana State University. These early years shaped her lifelong dedication to family, faith and community.
A committed Roman Catholic, Sharron's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a proud member of the Theresians and served faithfully as a Eucharistic Minister. Her devotion extended through active involvement in numerous parish groups where she lived out her beliefs with compassion and grace.
Sharron found great joy in music. Whether at family celebrations or community gatherings, she could often be found on the dance floor. Her love for travel brought her closer to loved ones and allowed her to experience different cultures.
At the center of Sharron's life was her beloved family. She shared 57 years of marriage with her husband Ken. Together they raised two daughters: Bonnie Noonan (Kevin) and Donna Crary (Steve). She cherished her grandchildren—Jacob, Abby, Bridget, Katie, and Darcy—and her great-granddaughter Adeline. She also held a bond with her brother Dale Towle and treasured her cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death, Sharron honored the memory of her parents, Frank and Gloria Towle.
