A Funeral Mass for Sandra Bednarek Wiles, 65, of Richmond, TX, will be 10 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 507 S. 4th Street, Richmond, TX 77469. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Needville, TX 77461.

Visitation will be 5-7:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, TX, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM.

She was born Sandra Elaine Bednarek on January 4, 1950, in Rosenberg, TX, to Theodore Bednarek and Selma Kubena Bednarek. She died June 30, 2015, at her residence in Richmond, TX.

Sandra was a 1968 graduate of Needville High School. She loved people and never met a stranger. Sandra was compassionate, kindhearted, and loving, and she had a huge laugh. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, TX. Her family and friends enjoyed the cakes she baked and her sweet tea. Sandra was a devoted mother to her only child, Miranda, and she lovingly cared for her own mother.

Mrs. Wiles was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Bednarek; infant grandson, Lawson Theodore Domec; brothers-in-law, Ernest Krupa and Adolph Macha; and great nephew, Zachary Sullivan.

Survivors include her daughter, Miranda Domec and husband Scott of Needville, TX; her grandsons, who knew her as Meemaw, Gavin Domec and Maverick Domec of Needville, TX; mother, Selma Bednarek of Needville, TX; sisters, Delores Macha of Needville, TX, and Jeanette Krupa of Richmond, TX; 5 nieces, Shelly Sullivan and husband, Bill, of Needville, TX, Sheryl Norman and husband, Todd, of Needville, TX, Lanea Knox and husband, Len, of Rosenberg, TX, Melanie Sulak and husband, Tommy, of Richmond, TX, and Gina Ascenzi and husband, Brad, of Richmond, TX; numerous great nieces and great nephews; and other relatives and friends.
