Obituary

Rose Marie "Mama" Candelario passed away on November 30th, 2016. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were able to spend the last few days with her, each sharing our favorite memories. Mama loved each of her "chickens" loyally and fiercely. She adopted new daughters and sons who she loved as much as her own children. She was the wife and mom we all wanted to emulate because she cherished the important things in life. Never missing an opportunity to let us know how much we meant to her and that "life is too short" to let silly things get in the way of loving each other.

Our family experienced many blessings through the pain of losing her. The tears and laughter shared through her final days were simply amazing and our last gift that we could give to her and it was a gift to us all too. We learned so much from each other and know that we are who we all are because of Mama.

Many of Mama's loved ones have passed away before her and we know that she is with them all now. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Candelario Jr, who took loving care of her. Her daughter Cindy Candelario, her son Ralph Candelario III and wife Tonia, and son Michael Candelario and wife Beth. Her grandchildren: Tiffany and husband James Saunders, Zachary and wife Hillary Wilson, Colton Candelario, Taylor Candelario, Michael Candelario, Matthew Candelario, and Anthony Candelario. Her great-grandchildren: Jackson Saunders, Trenten Saunders, Hudson Saunders, and Bryson Wilson. Her adopted daughter, Lisa Kimbro, many loving cousins, family, and friends.

Mama's life will be celebrated at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on December 14th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception following in the Community Center. In lieu of flowers, please prayerfully consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Mama's memory. http://www.alz.org
