A Memorial Service for Patricia Ann Groze, 67, of Needville, TX, is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2015,from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon at Creekside Christian Fellowship, 16628 Highway 36 in Needville (across from Needville High School), where friends and family are invited to join for a celebration of her life.

Pat was born on April 27, 1947, in Albuquerque, NM, to Alvie and Allie Adell Mitchell. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Alfred "Buck" Groze; sons Buckie Groze and Kenny Groze and daughter Michelle Jochen and husband Mark. She was an amazing MoMo to Jordan Groze, Mason Albright, Michael Jochen and Adam Howard. She is also survived by two brothers, various cousins, nieces, nephews, many special friends and her beloved dogs Gingersnap and Scooter.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Martha Gomillion.

Pat worked for Needville Independent School District for 23 years before retiring in 2013. After retirement she loved spending time with and spoiling her beloved dogs and grandchildren and visiting with family and friends. Before retirement she enjoyed traveling and visiting historic places and looked forward to taking many more trips.

She was a wonderful woman who was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, Pat asked that donations be made to her grandkids college funds, care of Buck Groze, PO Box 578, Needville, TX 77461.
