Nezeda E. Henderson went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 12, 2018, in Needville, Texas. She was born to Tom and Margaret Wilson on September 14, 1923, in Springhill, Arkansas.

She has joined her husband Rev. Elton Henderson, son David Henderson, and grandson Scott Robbins. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte Robbins and husband Richard, grandchildren Heidi Engel, Jill McKee, Mike Henderson, Elizabeth Muder, brothers, Aussie Lee Wilson and George Wilson.

Nezeda served alongside her husband Elton for 51 years as pastor and wife in Louisiana. The last 15 years she made hundreds of Heart Pillows and afghans for MD Anderson Medical Center.

The motto she lived by was " I will do the best I can, where I am, with what I have, for Jesus' sake today."

Burial will take place 2:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018, in the Butter Cemetery in Forest Hill, Louisiana. A Memorial Service for the family will be held at a later time.
