Nancy Ross Love, 91, of Richmond, Texas, passed away June 4, 2026. She was born in Dallas, Texas, March 21, 1935, to Wade and Eunice Skinner.

Nancy graduated as salutatorian from Anahuac High School and attended Baylor University prior to her marriage to Emmett Love.

She is preceded in death by her husband Emmett, parents Wade and Eunice Skinner, and brother Harry Skinner.

She is survived by her sister Mary Wornat, children Dr. Tim Love and wife Ann, Joel Love, Ruth Dane and husband Mitchell, Sarah Sauser and husband Terry and Rachel Love. Nancy also leaves behind grandchildren Nathan, Jessica, Elizabeth, Cecily, Amy, Margaret, Benjamin, Monica, Chelsey, Emma and great grandchildren Emmett, Audrey, George, Logan, William, Casper, Leona, Jude, Henry, Chloe, Kirby, Ray, Evrynn and Sally.

Nancy was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Richmond, Texas, and was a treasured volunteer at Jane Long Elementary School.

A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at First Baptist Church, 502 S. Fifth St., Richmond, Texas 77469.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to First Baptist Church in memory of Nancy Love.

The family would also like to send heartfelt thanks to Sharika and the nurses with Heart to Heart Hospice for the loving care they gave their mom.
