Obituary

Mitchell Kevin Dylla was born on February 21, 1957, and passed away on August 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mitch was a man who truly loved life. He worked hard, played hard, and believed in enjoying the good times along the way. He had a big personality, a great sense of humor, and a presence that was hard to miss. He loved laughing, joking, telling stories, and simply being around the people he cared about.

He was incredibly proud of his two sons, Slate and Seth, and the men and fathers they became. His pride in them was something he never hesitated to share. Becoming a grandfather brought Mitch a whole new kind of joy. He had an undeniable soft spot for his grandchildren, Jax, Slone, Harper, and Mack, and loved every opportunity he had to spoil them. There wasn't much Grandpa wouldn't do for them.

Mitch loved his trucks, fast cars, boats, and just about anything with a motor. He always enjoyed a new toy and the fun that came along with it. That love has carried on through his sons and now his grandchildren, a little piece of Mitch that will continue for generations. He was also a lover of pets and had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Sadie.

Mitch is survived by his sons, Slate and his wife, Brianne, and their children, Jax and Slone Dylla; and Seth and his wife, Jenna, and their children, Harper and Mack Dylla; along with many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Mitch leaves behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, love, family, and good times. His absence will be deeply felt, but so much of him lives on in his sons, his grandchildren, and the stories they will carry forward.
