It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michele Lyn McCann on May 7th, 2023 at the age of 59 at her beloved Bar O Ranch in Fulshear, Texas. She was born to Michael and Carole McCann on June 6th, 1963 in Houston. Michele was a sweet, special child of God with an infectious smile that brought joy to all the lives she touched.

She is survived by her loving mother, Carole McCann; sister Kristi Stephens and husband John, sister Monty Guidry and husband Jason; along with her adoring nephews McCann, Jackson and Turner Stephens and Grayson Guidry; and her only niece Langley Guidry. She has joyfully joined her late father Michael T. McCann, grandparents Horace and Ella Owens Jr., Kenneth and Anna Ruth McCann, uncle Horace Owens III and his wife Betty, and aunt Linda Carroll.

A graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School, Michele also attended Blinn College and Wharton County Junior College studying art. An accomplished artist and writer, she had a passion for music, poetry, playing the piano, singing, and writing along with a love of lemons! With an exceptional memory, Michele became the family historian, date keeper and story teller.

A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Michele's life will be held on Saturday, May 13th from 3:00-5:00pm at the Bar O Ranch in Fulshear. The family acknowledges and appreciates the many  doctors, nurses, and caregivers who have supported her throughout the years.
