Michael David Schneider, age 28, peacefully went to be with the Lord on the evening of Saturday, February 14, 2015 while surrounded by friends and family. Michael was born May 28, 1986 in Richmond, TX to David Schneider and Gwen Chachere Himel. He is survived by his wife Jessica, his daughter Lia, his father David, his mother Gwen, his stepfather Russ, his sisters Tanya, Stephanie and Sydney, and step-brother Matthew, as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many cherished friends.

Michael graduated from Texas State University in 2008, earning a BBA in Mass Communication and minor in Business Administration.

Michael fought a hard fight, battling brain cancer since 2011. Anyone who knew him, admired him for his drive and kind heart. Michael loved God, his family, and friends. He is a true hero and will be remembered forever.

A Memorial Service for Michael will be held Friday, February 20th, at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at River Pointe Church, 5000 Ransom Road, Richmond, TX 77469.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an educational fund for Lia.
