Funeral services for Martin Merecka, 68, of Boling, TX, are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Needville Public Cemetery, Needville Fairchild Rd, Needville, TX 77461.

Martin Merecka was born December 8, 1946, in Newgulf, TX, to Martin and Louise Merecka and passed away on April 23, 2015, at his home in Boling.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Martin is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Charlie, John, and Luke Merecka.

He is survived by his wife Linda Merecka; children Martin Merecka, Jr. and wife, Clara, Gary Merecka, Chris Merecka and wife, Susan, and Teresa Castillo and husband, Leo; grandchildren Amber Garcia and husband, Kenneth, Madeleine Merecka, Hannah Merecka, Alana Merecka, Danielle Castillo, and Kimberly Castillo; sister Evelyn Krobot, and numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
