Marian Evelyn Elias Freeman was born November 30, 1911, and died August 28, 2013, in the home she shared with her son, Bill, and grandson, Wesley. She is also survived by sons, Lee and Teej, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer, and by two grandsons.

Marian was a volunteer with Helping Hands of Richmond/Rosenberg and the Host Program at Austin Elementary School. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and the Pecan Grove Garden Club and was a supporter of the Houston Catholic Workers of Casa Juan Diego House of Hospitality.

Marian loved the Tuesday morning Eucharist service in the chapel at Calvary Episcopal Church, and it will be said in her memory on September 3, 2013, at 9:30 AM.


Her remains will be interred next to her husband's in the columbarium garden at St. Philip in the Hills Episcopal Church in Tucson, Arizona.
