Margaret loved to serve others and volunteered with Meals on Wheels and supported MD Anderson. She organized and started the Lamar CISD Educational Secretary's Association which is still active today.
After her retirement, Margaret and husband Burienne enjoyed traveling by RV with great friends for many years. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities and was a significant influence in their lives.
She and Burienne were pioneers in the Dell Webb Sweetgrass community and very involved in activities there. She loved games and playing dominoes and her Canasta group was very special to her.
