Lillie Sontag, age 93, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2016 at her residence in Rosenberg, TX. She previously resided in Sugar Land, TX for more than 30 years. Lillie was born on October 27, 1922 to Olga Provacek and John Witek. She was predeceased by her husband, Johnnie Frank Sontag, as well as her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty J. Ragsdale of Rosenberg, TX; grandchildren: Steven Smelly of Cleveland, TX, Brian and Brandon Ragsdale of Rosenberg, TX, and Brandy Hemphill of Needville, TX. She also leaves behind her sisters Evelyn Hansen of Webster, TX, Doris Milam of Sacramento, CA, and Ann Romano of The Woodlands, TX, as well as her nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends. She was a member of the Community Christian Church in Rosenberg, TX. She will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at the Community Christian Church , 5220 Reading Road, Rosenberg, TX 77471, with Reverend Ben Kruse officiating. Following the funeral service, a graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Czech National Cemetery in East Bernard, TX 77435.
