Leopold Patrick Valchar, Jr.'s Obituary
On January 17, 2017, Leopold Patrick Valchar (also known as Sonny) went home to his Heavenly Father. He was born in Floresville, Texas to Leopold and Helen Valchar on February 9, 1940.
Leopold Patrick Valchar entered the army and then went on to work for the Pipe Fitters Union. He traveled out of state for several jobs with the Pipe Fitters Union. He loved animals, living off the land by farming, fishing, and hunting, family gatherings, bowling, and playing the accordion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leopold and Helen Valchar, his sister, Dorothy Valchar House, and brother, Eugene Valchar.
He is survived by sister, Diana L. Valchar and sister, Helen Valchar Blume, brother-in-law Jimmy Blume, brother-in-law Jimmy House, sister-in-law Cynthia Valchar, and by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
