Kathy Irene Jamerson Miller, 68, of Guy, Texas, passed away on April 15, 2026, in Houston, TX.

Kathy was born on August 21, 1958, in Port Lavaca, Texas, to Virginia Jamerson and Lynn "Buster" Jamerson. She attended Calhoun High School and later married the love of her life on May 16, 1981.

Kathy devoted her life to her family as a loving wife and homemaker. She truly lived life to the fullest and loved her family and friends deeply. Among her greatest blessings were the strong and loving relationships she shared with Bubba and Misty.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky; her brother, Sam Carter; and her sister, Diana Ford. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Buster Jamerson; her sisters, Judy Maly and Shirley Bundek; her brother, Daniel Carter; and her brothers-in-law, Jake, Larry, Mark, and Ronnie Miller.

Kathy was raised in the Baptist faith. Kathy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved catching a good movie, enjoying meals at Hartz Chicken with Uncle Ricky and her sisters, and taking quick getaways to the casino. She cherished time spent fishing with her family and adored her sweet fur babies with all her heart.

A viewing will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 4th Street, Rosenberg, Texas 77471. Interment will follow at Cesinger Cemetery, located at the corner of Roesler Road and Zamanek Road in Needville, Texas 77461.

Pallbearers include Cody Miller, Steven Miller, Kenny Groze, Russell Trail, Billy Ford, and Joshua Carmona.

A reception will be held following the service at Shirley's house, 18523 Selig Lane, Guy, Texas 77444.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local pet shelter in honor of Kathy's love for animals.
