Joseph Malcolm Gregory, better known as Joe, of Needville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2020, at the age of 71.

Joe was born in Richmond, Texas, on September 30, 1948, to M.C. "Bubba" and Louise Gregory. Joe grew up in Needville, Texas, and graduated from Needville High School in 1967. On January 8, 1972, he married his college sweetheart, Donna Pope Gregory. They spent 48 years together, had 2 sons, and were blessed with 2 granddaughters.

Joe was president of the consistory of Immanuel United Church of Christ and the Blue Jay Booster Club. He volunteered a lot of his time to the Needville Little League and the Needville Jaycees. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, gardening, and barbecuing. More than anything else he loved his family and his granddaughters, that were his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents M.C. and Louise, his in-laws Ray and Billie Pope, and his brothers Ron and Donald Gregory. He is survived by his loving wife Donna, son Jason and wife Julie, son Justin, and grandchildren Jessalyn and Peyton Gregory. He is also survived by his brother M.C. and wife Alice Gregory, sister Carolyn and husband Roland Conrad, brother-in-law Judge Ron Pope and wife Carolyn, along with many other beloved relatives. The Gregory family greatly appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Creekside Christian Fellowship. The funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 am at Creekside Christian Fellowship, 16628 Hwy 36 in Needville, TX 77461 . The burial will follow at the Guy Public Cemetery. Guy, TX 77444.
