Obituary

Funeral services for John Eugene Esposito Sr. (Pappy) 59 of Fairchild, will be held at 10:30 am Friday, April 25, 2014, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Needville.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at St. Michaels Catholic Church from 5:00 to 7:00pm.  Rosary and eulogy will begin at 7:00.

John was born on February 12, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Eugene and Ada Esposito.  He grew up in South Florida where he lived until he moved to Houston in 1976.

He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Needville and the Knights of Columbus #7067.  He worked at the South Texas Nuclear Plant for 30 years.  He was a member of the Stafford fire Department.

He enjoyed helping with benefits, Nascar races, football, working on projects in his shed, being mischievous and playing pranks on people, getting together with family and friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who he loved dearly.  Pappy was always ready to have fun with them whether it was going on father and son cub scout camp outs, or to the park or beach.  Going to Disney World, Lego Land, and hanging out on the beaches in Florida while going to see their great grandparents was something we all enjoyed.

He is preceded in death by his father Eugene John Esposito.

He is survived by his Mother Ada Barzana and Step Father Ralph Barzana, his wife of 33 years Andrea (Angie) Esposito, children John Esposito Jr. and wife Alicia, Jeffrey Esposito, Amy Esposito, grandchildren Colton Spitdowski, Blaise Spitdowski, and Ethan Esposito, Aunt Irma and Cousin Vivian, along with numerous other relatives and many wonderful friends.

He was called home too soon, and will be greatly missed more than words can tell.

Memorials can be made in his honor to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org) or to the National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030 ( www.nra.org ).
