Jeanne Shimala, born November 29, 1949, in East Chicago, Indiana passed away on August 3, 2016, joining her parents Joseph and Jeanne Lesar.

Jeanne was a woman of strength and conviction. She was passionate about her family, friends and real estate.

She loved and is survived by her devoted husband of forty-six years, Bruce S. Shimala, daughter Amanda Taylor (husband Ryan B. Taylor), her grandchildren Hailey, Natalee, and Jackie Taylor, as well as, her siblings Brian Lesar, Joyce Lesar (Joe Geber) and Tom Lesar (Kelly Lesar) and many nieces and nephews. As a former realtor, Jeanne also enjoyed many friendships and colleagues in the real estate industry.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 507 South 4th Street, Richmond, Texas. Following the service, the family welcomes you to a come and go "Open House" in her honor at the Taylor residence from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in her honor.
