James "Jimmy" Clifford Cervenka passed away on March 9, 2018, at the age of 63 at his home in Needville, Texas.

James was born on November 16, 1954, in Wharton, Texas to the late William "Bill" Cervenka and Marilyn Cervenka. James had 5 brothers and 3 sisters. He attended Wharton High School where he ran track. He loved the outdoors, animals, and the beach – he created some of his fondest memories with family and friends at Magnolia Beach.   James worked as a security guard at Fluor for over 15 years. He truly loved his dog Amber.

James is survived by his daughter Tyann Faye Cervenka Urich and her husband Sean Urich; his grandchildren Carter Urich and Tenley Urich; his siblings William Cervenka, Edna Cervenka, Benjamin Cervenka, Daniel Foote, Margaret Hadaway, Marilyn Koenig, and Ronald Collins. He also had many relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

James was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert "Bob" Foote, and an infant daughter, Kasandra Lynette Cervenka.

A memorial service will be held at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471 on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at 5:00 p.m.
