On May 1st, 2016, Ida Josephine Lemke took her final breath after having lived a long, blessed life. Many of her friends and family fondly know her as Ms. Jo, Aunt Jo, Mama Jo, Grandma, Banny, or Mom, but more importantly, we all know her for her love and abundant generosity. All of us can be assured that she made her name well-known with God and that she shares in the hope given to us from the Holy Scriptures.

Preceding her in the promise is her husband Leroy Lemke, as well as her brothers Clarence, Halton, and John Siecko, and her sister Wilomina Siecko (Appelt). She is survived by her sisters Oretha Siecko (Anthony; Pennoch) and Rose Siecko (Fitch), as well as her brother Fred (Manny) Siecko. Also surviving her are her sons Tony Allen Lemke and Richard Roy Lemke, her grandchildren Franklin Roy Lemke, Joseph Allen Lemke, June Kathleen Lemke, and Anthony Patrick Miller, and great grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews.

All who wish to celebrate her faithful life together may visit on Thursday, May 5th from 5-7 PM at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471. Her funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, May 6th, also at Garmany and Carden Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM Friday at Geiger Cemetery in Sublime, TX.
