A Memorial Service for Hugh Allen (Buddy) Stehle, 79, of Needville, TX will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461, with Pastor Dr. John Reid officiating.

Buddy was born March 15, 1939 in Rosenberg, TX to Herman and Dolores Stehle. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Buddy grew up with his two sisters, Shirley and Patsy, in Needville, TX on their family farm. He graduated from Needville High School and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force. Several years after his honorable discharge, he began his career at Gulf States Tube in Rosenberg where he worked until his retirement on January 1, 1997. Buddy loved fishing and hunting in his younger years. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Thelma, usually with several grandkids in tow. Buddy's grandkids were the light of his life and he shared many memorable vacations with them.

Survivors include his children: Cindy Hart, Vanessa Miller, Henry (Ricky) Robertson III and Jennifer, and Jerod Stehle; grandchildren: Joshua Miller and Sharlene Dunn, Zachary and Dylan Miller, Henry (Robby) Robertson IV, Eric and Tiffany Robertson, Darrell and Jessica Williams, Dakota, Cheyenne, Natalie and Emilee Stehle; great-grandchildren: Eddie, Aleeya, Drake, Lillian, Makayla, Meredith, Nahdya and Jordan; sister: Shirley and Leslie Falk of Beaumont, TX.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Thelma and sister Patsy Potter.
