A Memorial Service has been set for Helen Torpey Aulbach, 78, of Richmond, Texas for Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2-4 PM at Del Webb Sweetgrass, Lake House, 707 Del Webb Blvd., Richmond, TX 77469, with Deacon Don Ries officiating.

Helen Torpey Aulbach was born January 14, 1936 in Rochester, New York, to Richard and Genevieve Niver Torpey. She died Monday, March 24, 2014 in Richmond, Texas. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carlsbad, California for 25 years. Helen was married to Charles Aulbach for 56 years and greatly enjoyed their travels together. She loved a good round of golf, as well as playing bridge and attending social activities with her friends. She served on the Welcome Committee at Del Webb Sweetgrass.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; step mother, Emily Torpey; brother, Paul Torpey; sisters, Genevieve Hoag, Joan Hartigan and Mary Claire Hoag.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Aulbach of Richmond, TX; sons, James Aulbach of Houston, TX, John Aulbach and wife, Stephanie of Flower Mound, TX, Peter Aulbach and wife, Amy of Houston, TX, and Chris Aulbach of Richmond, TX; grandchildren, Adam Aulbach, Ryan Aulbach and wife, Lacey, Mac Aulbach, Sam Aulbach and Helen Aulbach; great-grandchildren, Caleb Aulbach, Aaron Aulbach and Joshua Aulbach; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
