Gracelie Pearline Sebesta's Obituary
Gracelie Sebesta of Guy, Texas, was born March 3, 1929, and went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2013.
She was preceded in death by a brother Melvin Marek, a sister Imogene Miller, a niece and nephew, Wanda Boortz and Lyndon Miller and grandchildren Jimmie and Jamie Sebesta.
She is survived by her son, Donald Sebesta and wife Phyllis; daughters Vicki Jakubec and Karen Sebesta; grandchildren Shad "Buckie" Groze, Greg and Patsy Jakubec, Michelle and Mark Jochen, Kelly and Michael Kelly, Dustin and Mandi Sebesta, Chris and Chrissy Sebesta and Tracy Jakubec and fiance Brad Burttschell; great grandchildren Jordan Groze, Kaylin and Kaden Jakubec, Mason Albright, Michael Jochen, Gracie and Adam Kelly, Brysen Sebesta, Caylie Sebesta, Bruce and Lydia Burttschell; dogs Rudy, Buffy, Bam, Dolly and Bunny; along with other relatives and friends.
Gracelie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone. She worked at Texas Instruments in Stafford and retired after many years. After her retirement, she enjoyed being at home, taking care of her beloved dogs, fishing, working in her yard, and gardening. She especially cherished her visits from her grandkids and great grandkids, and she could still be seen mowing her grass at 84 years of age.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 19, 2013, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville, with Pastor Greg Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in the Guy Public Cemetery with her grandchildren Shad "Buckie" Groze, Greg Jakubec, Dustin Sebesta, Chris Sebesta, Michael Kelly, Brad Burttschell and Mark Jochen serving as Pall Bearers; and nephews Terry Miller and and Kenneth Marek serving as Alternate Pall Bearers.
Although she will be greatly missed by her family, they will cherish and enjoy the memories she has left in their hearts.
