Genell Hand Raska Talasek born May 5, 1917, in Rosenberg, TX, passed away February 11, 2016. She is survived by daughter and husband, Beth and Walter Spangler; grandson and wife, Terry and Lisa Raska; and two great grandsons, Garrett and Westin Raska. She was preceded in death by her son, Howard Raska, and his wife, Gloria, and grand daughter, Jennifer Raska.


Visitation will be held 9 - 11 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471. A private family burial will be in Rosenberg City Cemetery, where Mrs. Talasek will be buried alongside her mother, father and brother.
