A Graveside Service for Franklin Joe Mazac, 79, of Damon, TX, is set for 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Needville Public Cemetery, Needville, TX 77461.



Visitation will be 5 - 7:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2016, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461.



Serving as Pallbearers will be David Matejka, Larry Jezek, C. J. Mazac, Joey Mikel, James Jakubec, and Melvin Ganske.



Mr. Mazac passed away April 30, 2016, at home with his family by his side. He was born in Richmond, TX, on October 30, 1936, to Wesley and Clara Mazac. He married Elaine Matejka on October 21, 1961, and they had 2 sons, Franklin Joe Mazac, Jr. and Russell Mazac. He lived his whole life on their farm near Damon. He was a farmer all of his life, and he loved going hunting and saltwater fishing.



Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Elaine Mazac of Damon, TX; sons, Franklin Joe Mazac, Jr. and Russell Mazac, of Damon, TX; sisters, Elsie Dement and husband, Tommy, of Marble Falls, TX, and Willma Berry; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
