Obituary

Frank Joseph Bartos Jr. "Frankie" died peacefully in S.P.J.S.T. Skilled Nursing Facility on January 1, 2020, in Needville, TX, at the age of 78. He was born March 22nd, 1941, in Rosenberg, TX, to Frank and Martha Bartos.

Frankie has been a humble servant of the Lord from childhood and was a loyal and dedicated member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Rosenberg. He served in the United States Army, worked for Garmany & Carden Funeral Home, and loved his family dearly. His nieces and nephews remember him as a quirky and caring uncle who made them laugh, brought them random animals, old casket pillows, and trinkets from Holy Rosary Church. Frankie was a generous individual who loved animals of all kinds, but especially birds. He would not eat chicken, turkey, dove, duck, or any other type of animal that had wings or feathers.

Though Frankie never had children of his own; he went on to find love and companionship with Joy Combs in 2013 at S.P.J.S.T. Skilled Nursing Facility.

Frankie is survived by his nephew, Thomas Davis of Rosenberg; great-nieces, Karen Reeves and husband Jamie of Rosenberg, and Tiffany Leschber and husband Chris of Hutto; great-great-nieces Megan Martin and husband John of Waco, and Kaitlyn Reeves; great-great-great niece Eva Leschber; and two great-great-great nephews Ezra Leschber and Hudson Martin. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Joy Combs, and his late sister Hildegarde Davis.

Funeral Services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1416 George Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471 on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 10 AM, celebrated by Deacon Brick Hodge, followed by his interment at West Gethsemane Cemetery, Rosenberg, TX. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Frankie's life.
