Funeral services for Evelyn Priesmeyer Oberhoff, 93, of Needville, TX, are set for 2 PM Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Immanuel Evangelical Church, 9018 Church Street, Needville, TX  77461 , with Rev. Ron Shifley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Immanuel Church Cemetery, Needville, TX.  Visitation will be 1 - 2:00 PM Sunday at the church for one hour preceding the funeral service.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Matthew Mendel, Christopher Scearce, Mark Weber, Leslie Kueck, George Beckham, Jeffrey Baker, and Honorary Pallbearers - American Legion Auxiliary Post 350.

Evelyn Emilie Priesmeyer Oberhoff was born October 30, 1925, to Walter and Nora Priesmeyer in Needville, TX.  She was a life long member of the Immanuel Evangelical Church being baptized February 28, 1926 and confirmed April 2, 1939.  On February 10, 1944, she married Ervin "Shorty" Oberhoff.  She loved gardening, canning, sewing, fishing, playing cards/dominoes, and dancing.  She loved playing Bingo at the SPJST Nursing Home. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 350 and past member of the pumping team of the Needville Fire Department.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Nora Priesmeyer, husband Ervin Oberhoff, infant daughter Carolyn: sisters,

Delores Kueck, Clarice Baker, and Melba Beckham.

Left to cherish her memory are her 4 children: Jimmy Oberhoff and wife Fran, Calvin Oberhoff and wife Joyce, Linda Mendel and husband Gary, Wanda Scearce and husband Mike; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to the Cemetery Fund for Immanuel Evangelical Church, 9018 Church Street, Needville, TX  77461 or a charity of choice.

Sincere thanks to her doctors, caregivers, Rev. Shifley, SPJST Nursing Home who loved her through the difficult transition of leaving her home, Vantage Hospice, family and friends for their support and prayers.
