Emil Tommy Borowiak, 67, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Emil was born October 14, 1948, in Sugar Land, Texas to Wallace and Antonia Borowiak. Emil loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed cooking also. You've heard the saying "Faith, Family and Friends"... well, that was how Emil lived. He was a Christian, always holding on to his faith. We are a close knit family and he enjoyed that, whether we were all gathered together to celebrate a birthday, a holiday or just stopping in to say Hi, Emil was ready to swap stories, talk football or anything else.

Emil was very proud to be an American and loved his country. He served in the Army overseas in Vietnam. He received a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and an Army Commendation Medal, while in the service. He took his service to his country to heart and was very proud of it.

Emil is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Antonia Borowiak and niece Connie Mikel.

He is survived by brother, Wallace Borowiak and a sister, Mary Ann Goldman. Nieces, Ginger Johnson, Jennifer McFarland, Lori Goldman and nephews, Michael Borowiak, Jeff Borowiak, Chris McFarland and Allen Goldman. Also numerous other great nieces and nephews and cousins.
