Funeral services for Elsie E. Koehne, 85, of Rosenberg, TX, are set for 3:00 PM Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1512 Louise Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471, with Rev. Wayne Schueler officiating. Burial will follow in Needville Public Cemetery, Needville, TX.



Visitation will be 2 - 3:00 PM Thursday at the church for one hour preceding the funeral service.



She was born Elsie Emma Muenich on November 19, 1928, in Blessing, TX, to John Muenich and Annie Factor Muenich. She passed away on May 26, 2014, in Richmond, TX. She was a caregiver at Richmond State School.



Mrs. Koehne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond Koehne, and by her brother and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her two daughters Linda McCoy and Carolyn Grigar and husband, Robert Grigar; son, Roger Koehne and wife, Ladonna Koehne; her granddaughter, 3 grandsons, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Chad Grigar, Travis Nanez Jr, Raymond Koehne, Michael Balcerowicz, and Charles F. Hearne, Jr. Alternate Pallbearers will be David Aguliar and Mark Zurovec. Honorary Pallbearers are her great grandchildren: Megan Grigar, Amy Rios, Christopher and Nickolas Mejorado.

Memorials may be given in her memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1512 Louise Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
