Funeral services for Elisabeth Larson, 83, of Sugar Land, TX, are set for 1:00 PM Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1512 Louise Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471, with Rev. Wayne A. Schueler officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Rosenberg, TX.



Visitation will be 12 Noon - 1:00 PM Saturday at the church, for one hour preceding the service.



She was born Elisabeth Sylvia Garthoff in Germany on January 8, 1931, to Alfred Erich Albert Garthoff and Frieda Helene Karolina Kirchner Garthoff. She died September 14, 2014, in Houston, TX. She lived in Texas for the past 35 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Rosenberg, TX.



Mrs. Larson was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Philip M. Larson. Survivors include son, Philip Larson (Darlene) of Houston, TX; 5 daughters, Margitta Varga of Vienna, Austria, Linda Gumaer (David) of Los Angeles, CA, Hellen Clark, Kathleen Larson, and Janet Hernandez, all of Sugar Land, TX; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and sister, Korola Schmidt, of Germany.



Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Fund, 1512 Louise Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
