Funeral services for Doris Kuykendall Barina, 91, of Needville, TX, are set for 10 AM Monday, October 6, 2014, at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Damon, TX. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.


Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461.


A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home in Needville, TX.


Doris was born May 3, 1923, in Needville, TX, to Ed Kuykendall and Fannie Belle Eversole Kuykendall. She died October 3, 2014, in Needville, TX.


She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, William H. Barina; and by her son, John F. Barina. Survivors include her children, Sherry Barina, Gloria Long, Betty Gryder, Allen Barina, and Willy Ann McClain; grandchildren, Curtis Gryder, Jr, JoAnna Gryder, Steven Gryder, and Richard Valicek; and 4 great grandchildren.
