Funeral Services for Donald Elwin Dean, Jr., 67, of Richmond, TX, are set for 11 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471, with Rev. Gale Towns officiating. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 AM Wednesday, for one hour preceding the funeral service.



Donald was born June 19, 1947, in Moorhead, MS, to Donald Elwin Dean, Sr. and Thelma Cade Dean. He died November 1, 2014, in Sugar Land, TX. He loved his grandchildren and Tyson. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy. His family and friends will miss him dearly.



He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Elwin Dean, Sr. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra Dean, of Richmond, TX; son, Michael Dean of Richmond, TX; daughter, Amanda Fletcher and husband, Russell, of Rosenberg, TX; grandchildren, Tristan Dean of Richmond, TX, June Fletcher and James Fletcher, both of Rosenberg, TX; mother, Thelma Dean, of Cleveland, MS; siblings, Patricia Ray and husband, David, of Gatlinburg, TN, Scott Dean and wife, Nan, of McCarley, MS, and Cynthia Weeks and husband, Jimmy, of Cleveland, MS; nieces, other family members and friends.
