David Joseph Schrock's Obituary
Funeral Services for David Joseph Schrock of Beasley, TX, are set for 11 AM Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471, with Rev. Wayne Schueler officiating. Following the service, he will be buried next to his sister, Suzanne, at Davis Greenlawn Cemetery, Rosenberg.
Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, Rosenberg, TX.
David was born December 22, 1964, in Midland, Michigan, to Woodrow and Noreen Schrock; he was the baby of four older sisters. He lived 52 years, 5 months, and 1 day before he passed away on May 23, 2017, in Beasley, TX. He grew up in Midland, Michigan, and when his Dad retired they moved to the Valley, where he graduated from high school. He also lived in Port Lavaca before moving to this area. He worked for Humphrey LTD as a plumber journeyman. David was a unique, free spirit who loved trucks and motorcycles, mudding, animals and playing practical jokes. He was very social and will be lovingly remembered as Dad, Uncle, Super Dave, Curly Dave, and "Sam to the family".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Wilson Schrock and Noreen McGrath Schrock, and by his sister, Suzanne Hummel Schrock. Survivors include his son, Damian Schrock, of Richmond, TX; Damian's mother, Billie Nourse; sisters, Kathryn Bushroe and husband, John, of Saginaw, Michigan, Victoria Cox and husband, Tom, of Midland, Michigan, and Brigetta Schrock of Beasley, TX; nieces and nephews, Gretchen Albright and husband, Mark, and family, of Beasley, TX, Emily Brevik and husband, Todd, and family, of Michigan, Abraham Cox and wife, Melanie, and family, of Beasley, TX, Warwick Cox and wife, Ashley, and family, of Tampa, FL, Nichole Kroulik and husband, Michael, and family, of Saginaw, Michigan, and Michelle Bushroe-Stumpf and husband, David, and family, of Chicago, Illinois.
Memorials may be given in his memory to the humane society of your choice.
