Daniel Martin Todd, 60, of Richmond TX, was born on 3 Oct 1963. He was one of 7 children born to Clifton and Melva Todd. Daniel was called home to our Lord on 30 Oct 2023.

Daniel is preceded in death by his Mother Melva and Father Clifton. He is survived by his children Jason and Kellyn Todd of East Bernard and Jessica Todd of Richmond, Grandchildren Jyden Darrow of Leavenworth KS, Carson Todd, Olliver Todd, and Knox Todd of East Bernard. He is also survived by his 6 siblings Donna Todd of Magnolia, Thomas Todd of Liberty Hill, George Todd of Bryan, Joe Todd of Cassatt, S.C., Veronica Todd of Fredericksburg, and Christopher Todd of Needville.

Daniel was a caring and giving Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. He loved watching mediocre games of basketball, soccer, baseball, and football; offering many words (some being expletives) of encouragement from the sidelines to each of his grandchildren. He enjoyed teaching, although not professionally trained he would not miss a step in letting you know how it ought to be done right. Daniel would often take care of the needs of others before his own and could always be depended on when help was needed. He loved dogs and would often take in strays that needed shelter and care for them, even giving them their own room which he affectionately referred to as "Dog Town".

There are many things that made Daniel special and to try to list them all would not be possible; I know that each and every one who truly knew him would agree. He will be severely missed by all, and the family would like to thank everyone for all the love, support, and prayers they have received from all the people who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church Parish Hall located at 603 Mulcahy Ave., Damon, TX 77430. Lunch will be served.
