Daniel C. Pieper was born on June 8, 1932 in Ryker, TX to Fritz Pieper and his wife Mary (Esteroch) Pieper. He received the Sacrament of Holy Baptism and was confirmed on August 3, 1961 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rosenberg, TX by Reverend Arthur T. Kollmeyer.

On May 31, 2008, Daniel married Dorothy (Tobola) Pieper in a ceremony surrounded by family.

Daniel was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and owned his own construction business that he ran with his sons Melvin and David Pieper providing homes for people in the community for the last 55 years. He loved living life to the fullest and filled his days with bowling, hunting, fishing, and dancing. He was a father to 4 daughters and 2 sons and was blessed with11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was called to his eternal rest on April 26, 2018 at the age of 85 years, 10 months, and 18 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fritz and Mary Pieper, his wife of 48 years Margie Ann Pieper, and son-in-law, Curtis Runge.

Funeral services have been set for 11am Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1512 Louise St. Rosenberg, TX 77471, with burial to follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Needville, TX.

A time of visitation will precede the service from 10 – 11 am at the church.
