Clifford D. "Papa" Harbes, 71, went home to be with his Maker on February 5, 2018.

Clifford was born March 13, 1946, in Wharton, Texas. He was a heavy equipment technician for over 50 years. After retirement he enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, and most of all, he enjoyed being with his family. He greatly cherished his time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandson, who loved him equally as much.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Corinne Harbes; children, Tracy D. Harbes and wife, Paige Pittman-Harbes; daughter, Collette S. Harbes and fiancé, Ryann Moore; grandchildren, Jordan T. Trail and Avery M. Trail; and precious great grandson, Mitchell T. Johnson; brothers, Howard Harbes, wife Patti Harbes, Gary Harbes, wife Lynette Harbes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Laura Harbes of Rosenberg, Texas, as well as by his grandparents both paternal and maternal.

The family will have a celebration of his life with the date to be decided upon at a later time.
