On the morning of April 11, 2013 our beloved Christine Johnson was suddenly and unexpectedly called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The loss felt by her family cannot be put into words. She leaves behind her husband of 41 years Wayne, her daughter Jennifer Herbert and her husband Bernie, her son Stephen Johnson and his wife Kimberly. She also leaves her mother Dolores Churpek, Wayne's mother, Lillian Johnson, her brother Mark Churpek and his wife Christine, nieces, a nephew and 5 grandchildren.

Christine was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 6, 1951, to Dolores and Phillip Churpek. Her father precedes her in death. She and Wayne met in college and were married in 1972. Christine loved her family with a passion and a devotion few families are lucky enough to experience. For many years she ran her own executive suites business and provided administrative support to many of the small businessmen in the Houston area.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 18th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1512 Louise Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in her memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1512 Louise Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
