Christian Cody Kruse

Christian Cody Kruse was born March 14, 1997 in southwest Houston, Texas. Christian is the first born to parents Candace and Ben Kruse & is the younger brother of Brandon and an older brother to Jada.

A graduate of Needville High School, Christian's professional life was a journey to find where he best fit. This path took him from working his way to management in food service to fulfilling work in the warehouse and distributing industry. Most recently he joined a grounds maintenance crew. Christian welcomed and embraced a hard day's work.

Christian's personal life is just that, personal. Anyone could see that he cherished his best friends. They were inseparable, his Jeni & Tali. He loved hangin' out and spending time talking and playing with them. Like many friends, they would occasionally get on each other's nerves but in the end, they hug it out and start rough-housing all over again.

Christian is interested and fascinated by many things. He enjoyed online gaming in his spare time. He found joy in reading, in music, and in writing songs and poetry. Cruising skateboards was an activity that afforded him many returns, from transportation to socializing with friends and family.

Christian is proud of his family. He loved spending time with them and the extended. He especially cherished time with his sister and brother.

Christian has great compassion for others. His grace and mercy shown to others would make third world missionaries envious. He has the kindness of his mother and the passion of his father. He will always be the guy that would defend what and who he believed in. He would defend the meek and support the less fortunate. He had great affinity, understanding, & patience with & for those who are physically or mentally challenged. Christian plays a supporting role in a challenged family. He is able to empathize with everyone who has been privileged enough to interact with him, even for the smallest of moments, caregivers and the broken hearted alike.

Christian loved and mourned those who preceded him in passing. Grandmommy (Linda Snell), PawPaw Kruse (Charles Kruse), & Grannie (Dolores Wiggs).

The date of our beloved's passing was April 25, 2023. Christian is survived by his parents Candace & Ben Kruse, grandparents PawPaw & Nana (James & Carol Snell) siblings Brandon and Jada, Aunt Elveda, Aunt Nikki & Uncle Derrick, Aunt Molly, Laurie & Carl, cousins Adriana, Cadence, Jake, Zach, Kyrie & Drew.
