Charles Daniel "Danny" Thompson was born July 9, 1958, in Elgin, TX. He died on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in Rosenberg, TX. Danny grew up in Rosenberg and graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School. He worked in his father's (Ralph Thompson) business for 20 years; before that, he worked for Sperry-Sun and following that, he worked in several machine shops. Presently, he was living with his mother and helping her full time.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Thompson. Survivors include his mother, Doris Thompson; brothers, James Thompson and wife, Debra, and Bobby Thompson and wife, Cris; sister, Diane Hervieux and husband, Phil; nieces and nephews, Paul Thompson, Kristin Milosevich and husband, Matt, Hayley Hervieux and Connor Hervieux; and great nieces and nephews, Matthew Garcia, Nicholas Milosevich, and Evelyn Milosevich.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Calvary Baptist Church, 4111 Airport Avenue, Rosenberg, TX 77471 , with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 PM. A private family burial will be Monday, June 4, 2018, at Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery, Rosenberg, TX 77471.

Serving as Pallbearers will be David Holmes, Doug Holmes, Donnie Swallers, Mark Vogler, Johnny Tarver, and  Arvid Johanson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Steve Cupit.

Memorials may be given in his memory to Calvary Baptist Church Youth Program, 4111 Airport Avenue, Rosenberg, TX 77471 .
