Mr. Chad Eric Barnes passed from this life on July 26, 2017 in Richmond, Texas.

Born August 24th, 1972 in Richmond, Texas, Chad spent the majority of his time in Houston and his hometown of Richmond. Chad graduated from Sam Houston State University where he was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.

Upon graduation, Chad embarked on a career in construction both in high end residential and commercial. When Chad was not working, he was either spending time with his wife Jenina Parks Barnes, trying to find the next greatest "hole in the wall" restaurant, or spending time with his nephews, Trenton and Korbin Barnes.

Chad is preceded in death by his father Dwain Barnes. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenina Parks Barnes; his mother and her husband, Carolyn and Ron Pope; his father's wife, Lynn Barnes; sister and her husband, Chrisi and Jason Harris; brother and his family, Bret, Sarah, Trenton and Korbin Barnes; and extended family, The Koym, The Pope, The Parks, and the Feehan families.
