Calvin John Mikeska, 85, of Guy, TX, passed away in Needville, TX, on December 8, 2016. He was born November 5, 1931, in Guy, TX, to Joseph H. Mikeska and Pauline Sitta Mikeska. Calvin served in the the US Army, and he worked in the US Post Office. He loved the outdoors, especially working in his garden.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Genevieve; daughter, Barbara Mikeska; and siblings, Joe Mikeska, Viola Spalding, Leona Wilhite, Vlasta Surovec, and Dorothy Eversole. Survivors include his son, Calvin John Mikeska, Jr; daughter, Kathy Schoener; grandchildren, Samantha Campbell and James Schoener; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Memorial donations may be given in his memory to a charity of choice.
