Funeral services for Bryan Armstrong, 56, of Chappell Hill, TX , formerly of Simonton, TX , are set for 11 AM Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471 .

Visitation will be 10 - 11 AM Saturday, for one hour preceding the funeral service.

Bryan was born March 13, 1964, in Dimmitt, TX, to Charles Andrew "Sonny" Armstrong and Ann Smith Armstrong. He died May 25, 2020, in Brenham, TX.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Yates Armstrong of Chappel Hill, TX, formerly of Simonton, TX; children, Jim Armstrong and wife, Lauren, Cory George and wife, Bailey, Carrie Armstrong, Devon George and wife, Erin, and Colton George; 6 grandchildren, Natalie, Gwen, Avery, Cason, Bobby, and Matthew, and the 7th grandchild expected to arrive in November 2020; mother, Ann Armstrong of Flippin, Arkansas; brother, Trent Armstrong and family of Lewisville, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Armstrong.

Bryan was a "Fixer" - he had the ability and "the touch" to fix anything, whether it was wood, machinery, or his boys' attitudes. He loved his family and was most proud of being "Papa" to his grandchildren. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
