Obituary

Bobbie Lynn Cameron Judy was born December 4, 1951, and passed away August 29, 2026, at home with her loving husband of 56 years, William Judy, by her side.

Bobbie was born in Monroe, Louisiana to Howard and Marie Cameron. She and William married on May 25, 1970 and would later welcome two sons, Mervin and Michael Judy.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Marie Cameron, father-in-law and mother-in-law J.R. and Adeline Graeber, and sister-in-law, Maxine Baca.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, William Judy, sons Mervin Judy and wife Lisa and Michael Judy and wife Delayna. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Westin and Rylin Judy and Jack Judy. Bobbie is also survived by her two sisters, Laura Lima and Linda Padon and husband Roy, sister-in-law, Linda Jakubec, brother-in-law, Kenneth Baca, and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

After her high school graduation from Lamar Consolidated High School's Cosmetology Program, Bobbie began her career as a hairdresser. Later she would work 10 years for Nalco in the mailroom and sample room followed by 16 years as a substitute teacher for Needville ISD before fully retiring to spend time with her family and friends.

Bobbie and William had many fun times together. They enjoyed supporting their sons and grandchildren at their many activities, camping trips with wonderful friends, attending and participating in barbeque cookoffs, dancing, cooking together, fishing, and traveling to name a few. Bobbie always looked forward to her time with her sisters each week when they got together to eat, shop, visit and travel; this time was lovingly referred to as Sister Saturday.

Even through her lengthy battle with cancer and later when she became immobile, Bobbie remained front and center guiding and interacting with her family and friends, even giving directions from her bed to anyone in her kitchen. Bobbie was an excellent cook and always made sure there was plenty of food for her family and anyone else who may come over. Bobbie was a nurturing provider to her family and welcoming caregiver to many others over the years.

To honor Bobbie's final wish, there will be a private graveside service. Donations can be made in Bobbie's memory to the American Cancer Society .
