Aline (Meyen) Lichnovsky, 85, of Needville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1st, 2020. She was born April 10th, 1934 in Needville to John Meyen and Ellie (Boecker) Meyen.

Aline was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Church in Needville. She was a homemaker and also worked at the SPJST Nursing Home in Needville in the 70's and early 80's.

She is survived by her children, Albert Lee Lichnovsky, Dorothy Jane Shumbera and husband Melvin, son-in-law Tim Ulrich, step daughters Patsy McCaffety and husband Leon and Joan White and husband Allan; grandchildren Kevin Shumbera and wife Sara, Kelly (Shumbera) Barnett and husband Casey, Mitchell Ulrich and Jason Ulrich. Her first great grandbaby is due in August. Also surviving her are her sister, Dorothy Farmer, brothers Frank Meyen and his wife Lariese, Alton Meyen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Aline was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert Lichnovsky, sister Christine Valka, brother Otto Meyen and daughter Laurie Ulrich.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Evangelical Church, 9018 Church Street, Needville, Tx 77461.

Due to the COVID-19, a small graveside service to be held at the Needville Public Cemetery by immediate family only.
